What is a hospital bed?

A hospital bed is a bed used by patients in hospitals. These beds are generally manually adjustable to provide the optimal support and positioning for the individual patient's needs. A typical hospital bed will include a mattress, adjustable railings, a pop-up table, and wheels for use in the event that a person or bed needs to be transported elsewhere.

Hospital beds are sanitized between patients in order to prevent the spread of disease. The sheets are cleaned regularly and as needed.
