How to contribute

Healthcarepedia needs writers and editors to help communicate the important concepts of U.S. healthcare in clear, simple, and objective fashion.

While knowledge of these concepts is important, we're looking for passionate individuals who can research and organize data into useful information.

By joining our group of contributors, we hope you'll find a community of like-minded individuals who enjoy learning and communicating about healthcare.

To get involved:

1. Click on the "Request an account" link in the upper right hand corner and fill out the registration form. Please be sure to include a bit about yourself in the Biography section. One of our administrators will be in touch shortly thereafter.
2. Familiarize yourself with our Mission & Goals and Values
3. Style Guide - we have an evolving in-house style guide
4. If you're new to wiki editing style, feel free to reference this external guide. Our in-house cheat sheets are still being updated.
5. Once your account request is approved, you'll be invited to join our Slack community and be sent weekly community updates.
